Julia Roberts is said to be in talks to play the wicked witch in The Brothers Grimm: Snow White movie.
Director Tarsem Singh is keen to cast the Pretty Woman star as the evil queen in his adaptation of the fairytale - one of three currently in development for the big screen - New York magazine's Vulture movie blog reports.
Julia's representatives have now apparently begun "earnest" negotiations for her to play the role.
This will be the first major casting for The Cell director's 3D project, although Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Anne Hathaway have all been linked to the part of Snow White.
Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart has been confirmed to be in talks to star in Universal Pictures' Snow White And The Huntsman. Charlize Theron is expected to play the Evil Queen and Viggo Mortensen the Huntsman in that big screen adaptation of the classic fairytale.
It has also been revealed Disney is producing Snow and The Seven which is to be written by Toy Story 3's Michael Arndt and set in 19th Century China.
