Let's hope the first entry in the reboot of the Spider-Man franchise, The Amazing Spider-Man, is good because it's screenwriter, James Vanderbilt, is already writing the sequel!
The writer first began working on Spider-Man 4 when Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire were on board, but after that fell apart, the studio kept him on board because they liked his haracter-driven approach to the story rather than a focus on special effects.
We like character!
This guy also brought in the Lizard, so he's got his head in the right place!
In fact, we might ALREADY be excited for the sequel before the next one even comes out! Ha!
