Colonel Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, deputy director of Ajman Police, said the force received several complaints about the woman’s antics.
They sent in an undercover officer to find out more about the suspect and then raided her apartment.
Police said they found various items that could be used for sorcery, including herbs, door-locks, leather materials, literature and other accessories.
Al Nuaimi said the woman confessed to practising witchcraft and said she was targetting people she thought would be susceptible to her con.
The case has been referred to Ajman Public Prosecution.
