Yesterday they were guests at a wedding but today was the big day for James Corden and his new wife Julia.
The pair wed in a lavish £250,000 ceremony in front of a whole host of celebrity friends.
The 34-year-old comedian and writer was pictured beaming as he led his new bride out onto the lawn toast his marriage with friends including David Walliams and his wife Lara Stone and Jimmy Carr, who was celebrating his 40th birthday today.
Overjoyed! James Corden and Julia were seen sporting huge grins on their faces after becoming man and wife. The pair wed in a lavish £250,000 ceremony in Somerset
Just married: James Corden was seen beaming as he and new wife Julia made their way to the wedding reception in Somerset today
Julia, who gave birth to son Max in March last year, looked amazing in an elegant wedding gown covered in lace.
The figure-hugging dress by designer Monique Lhuillier nipped the former TV producer in at the waist and boasted a form-fitting basque.
The long-sleeved design, which cost £8,000, also had a long train which tumbled out onto the ground behind Julia.
Jokers: David Walliams, far left was seen chatting to James while Lara spoke with Julia at the wedding reception at Babington House hotel in Somerset, Jimmy Carr, far right, also attended
Simply stunning: Julia looked amazing in her lace wedding gown and was seen chatting to comedian Michael Mcintyre and his wife Kitty
The mother-of-one had her blonde hair up with a veil placed above the low bun, she also pearls dangling from her ears.
James, who was beaming with joy in the wake of the nuptials, looked dapper in a smart navy suit by Savile Row designer Spencer Hart, with a white rose on his left lapel.
While the sun hid behind clouds the couple celebrated with friends on the lawn outside the impressive venue and the couple were serenaded by pop star Gary Lightbody, lead singer of the band Snow Patrol. Former Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles and chart-topping hip-hop artists Rizzle Kicks also performed.
Well prepared: Staff at the hotel had plenty of big umbrellas on hand in case of a downpour
Beautiful venue: The couple wed at Babington House in Somerset
We bet he brought a good present: Dragon's Den businessman Peter Jones was seen sharing a joke with another guest
And the model wore black: Lara Stone opted for an off-the-shoulder black dress for the wedding
Corden is understood to have spent £200,000 hiring Babington House – a 32-bedroom former stately home that is now a hotel and private members’ club – for the three-day celebration, which began with a drinks reception on Friday evening.
Earlier this week, members of the Soho House private members’ club, who pay up to £1,000 a year for membership – which entitles them to use the facilities at Babington House – received an email saying the venue would be closed from midday on Friday until lunchtime today.
But it seemed the message hadn’t reached a handful of regulars, who were left angry when they arrived at the gates yesterday to be told they were unable to use the facilities.
Famous friends: Doctor Who star Matt Smith and Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia were seen arriving at the party
Getting ready: James was seen on the balcony of the hotel this morning with a number of his friends
Living the high life: James arrived at the venue in Somerset by helicopter after attending the wedding of Dermot O'Leary in Kent yesterday
There must have been plenty of laughs at the party with a whole host of comedy talent at the bash.
As well as Walliams and Carr Michael McInytre was also present with his wife Kitty.
This morning James was seen on the balcony of the hotel dressed down and the funny man was surrounded by a group of pals.
The One Man, Two Guvnors star proposed to Julia on Christmas day 2010 and the pair welcomed their son Max less than three months later.
Just one day to go: The couple were seen celebrating the wedding of Dermot O'Leary and his bride Dee in Kent yesterday (Friday)
