Daily Mail
It's back on screens later this month and series seven of Doctor Who certainly doesn't disappoint.

In a new 90-second trailer for the upcoming season - starring Matt Smith as the Time Lord once again - the Doctor is seen facing off against the deadly Daleks and a group of terrifying dinosaurs trapped on a spaceship, before becoming embroiled in a full-scale Western drama.

The promo also offered a glimpse of how actress Karen Gillan, who portrays the Doctor's trusted companion Amy Pond, potentially bows out of the series in the New York-set episode five.

'A Town Called Mercy takes us into a genre Doctor Who hasn't attempted since the Sixties - it's a full blooded western,' Steven added.

'We knew from the start we need some serious location shooting for this one, and given the most iconic American setting imaginable, there was only one place to go - Spain.'
