Nothing compared to natural childbirth!: Mayim Bialik plays down her car accident as she steps out with her arm in a cast

Daily Mail

Actress Mayim Bialik was spotted out and about today in Los Angeles for the first time since leaving hospital.
Despite her right hand in a cast and her left arm bandaged, the Big Bang star looked to be in good health following a serious car accident earlier this week.
Mayim made light of her injuries on her Twitter page yesterday telling fans: 'Nerve block: good. Nerve block wearing off: not good. Natural childbirth: manageable and profound. This: meh.'

Wearing a striped t-shirt, long black skirt and a pair of black converse, the mother-of-two was clearly determined to get back to normal as she loaded bags into the back of her SUV outside of her home today.
Workaholic Mayim reportedly returned to The Big Bang Theory set less than 48 hours after the car crash that seriously injured her hand and arm.
The dedicated star couldn't resist her 'loving' cast and crew, joining them back on set on Thursday.
Praising them on Twitter, she wrote: 'How much do I get love and support from the big band cast and crew? I went to work today :-) doing ok. Grateful. And tired.'
Mayim also wrote an honest and detailed blog, which she promoted on the social networking site, and informed fans it was a 'Left handed typed post'.

The former Blossom star, 36, was rushed to an LA hospital on Wednesday after being involved in a serious smash with another vehicle carrying Chilean tourists.
The front end of her white sedan was badly damaged in the collision, which occurred in an intersection on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea.
At first it was feared she could lose a finger on her right hand, which was crushed in the accident.
But Bialik, who graduated from UCLA with a degree in neuroscience, was quick to assure her fans that she was out of harm's way: 'I didn't tear any artery, nerve, or tendons,'  she said.

'It could have been so much worse. I will have a long recovery and my assistant Brandon will help type my blogs for now. He won't write them, I'll dictate.
'I will be continuing on The Big Bang Theory with no weeks off; they are so good to me and I love my job and the support I get from my buddies on the cast and our loving staff and crew.'
'This Shabbat, appreciate your body. Appreciate the capacity for strength. And please drive safely,' she added.
