Towie's Amy Childs poses for a raunchy underwear shoot and admits a psychic predicted she would become famous.
The 20-year-old fulfilled a lifetime ambition by appearing in her first FHM Magazine photo shoot.
The Only Way Is Essex star said: “I’ve always wanted to model and I’ve always wanted to do FHM. Abbey Clancy’s done it, Cheryl Cole’s done it, and this underwear is all lovely. Rich and elegant and sophisticated.”
Commenting on her new found fame, she told FHM: “People used to tell my best friends that I would be famous one day. I was in Ibiza two years ago with my really good friend who’s a psychic, and she said that in two years’ time I’d be known, and that time is now. She was good!”
Speaking about the hit ITV 2 show, Amy, a former Essex county table tennis player, said: “It’s a tongue-in-cheek, fun programme and if you don’t like it, don’t watch it! Just because we’re like that doesn’t mean everyone in Essex is. People are fascinated by us because we’re different.”
Amy had to leave her job as a beautician to do the first series of the show. Its success led to a second series being commissioned, which started on March 23. In between the two series, Amy has befriended Peter Andre and Kerry Katona, landed a New! magazine column and modelled Caprice’s underwear range, By Caprice.
