Kaya Scodelario has admitted that the cast of BBC drama Love Life struggled with the show's improvisational style.
The series, which also stars David Tennant and Jane Horrocks, will be comprised of five linking stories examining love and relationships.
"Not one word was written down on paper," Scodelario told PA. "It's terrifying, until you find a natural rhythm."
She added: "Everybody was nervous about it, so I wasn't the only one. I think David Tennant had a panic attack before his first day because he didn't know what to say!"
Wuthering Heights star Scodelario will play Karen, the love interest of teacher Holly (Billie Piper).
"I think the main focus of the program is to put these two women in a situation... and understand the connection and emotions without it being a sexual thing," she explained. "There are no sexual scenes." Click here for an interview...
