This baby has no choice but to be one of the most awesome kids in the world. After all, his blood is so seeped in Doctor Who that it'll be a surprise to me if he isn't a legitimate Time Lord himself.
It was earlier reported that former Doctor Who star David Tennant was engaged to Georgia Moffett, who had previously guest-starred on Who series 4 as the Doctor's daughter (in the episode titled "The Doctor's Daughter," appropriately enough). Moffett is also the daughter of Peter Davison, who portrayed the Doctor twenty years before Tennant did (he was incarnation #5, while Tennant was #10).
Now, though, it seems that Tennant and Moffett are expecting a child together. Though it may not be the most reliable source, The Sun is reporting that the couple are expecting their new arrival in the spring, a fact which they have allegedly been keeping under wraps. "David is thrilled, though slightly worried having a baby with Georgia will break the space time continuum because of their Doctor Who connections. David gets along brilliantly with [Moffett's eight-year-old son] Tyler and can't wait for the baby," The Sun reported.
Well, congratulations to Tennant and Moffett, but more congrats are in order for the baby, who will undoubtedly be one of the coolest kids in existence (his mum, dad, and granddad are Time Lords!). Maybe, for once, The Sun could be right: the baby might just break the space-time continuum.
Doctor Who, now starring Matt Smith as the Doctor, will return this spring for a sixth series.
