Glee star Chris Colfer will be busy over his hiatus, shooting a pilot he sold to the Disney Channel entitled The Little Leftover Witch.
Chris Colfer wrote the pilot based on the children's book series by Florence Laughlin. The story centers on a young witch who crash lands her broom and is taken in by another magical family. Production is said to start soon on the pilot, although it isn't clear if casting decisions have been made, or if Chris Colfer will also star in the pilot.
This is turning out to be quite the busy summer for Chris Colfer. We reported in January that the actor will star in Struck by Lightning, which also starts production this summer. Chris Colfer also wrote the screenplay for Struck by Lightning.
Chris Colfer will return for Glee's third season this fall on Fox.
